Nature of the disease:

Skin is the largest external body organ.Psoriasis is a reoccurring, chronic     disease that appeared in a form of plagues, pustular, patches, or pupules in the     skin surface. This autoimmune, skin condition has a lesions are typically       somewhat elevated above the normal skin surface. It evidently distinguished from   the normal skin with a red to reddish-brown in color. This lesions frequently   appearing on the elbows, knees, calves, scalp, hands, and in some cases may   appear all over the body. Though it is not a contagious disease, it can be passed       from one generation to another.

Cause:

Skin diseases is usually due to the impurities in the blood, where toxic waste material is poorly eliminated in our body. It has two causes either by genetic or immunological factors. In immunological reasons, it is called T- cell mediated disease while in genetic factor by heredity. It can also be due to the injuries and some infection of the skin.

 

Effects:

It is a worldwide disease, which in severe cases may occur for a longtime or maybe a lifetime problem and start at any age range. This condition was once known to be incurable which often resorts to Steroids and other medication that produce harmful side effects.

In addition, this disease greatly affects the patients’ quality of life. The symptoms (itchiness and pain) have an effect on the daily life cycle. Embarrassment is one of the major factors. It also affects emotionally, through feeling of guilt, anger, sadness, and lower self-esteem.

Rarely life-threatening but in severe cases of cancer can lead to skin cancer.

 

Cure/Healing:
