Nature of the Disease:

Stoke is a sudden stoppage of blood flow in the brain by blockage or       rapture of blood vessels. Brain is the main controlling center of the nervous   system. If the blood flow in the brain region is inhibited from constant supply of       oxygen, nutrients, and energy. Within minutes of lack of oxygen in the brain,  brain cells or the neurons will eventually die.
Stroke has two kinds; these are ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. It is     almost the most common cause of death around the globe.

 

Cause:

The most common type of stroke is the blockage of blood in the small blood vessel or arteries of the brain; also called as ischemic stroke. The other type is called the hemorrhagic stroke which happens when the blood vessels in the brain breaks and bleeds.
Hardening of the arteries, also called atherosclerosis that affects or occur in the brain region. Common diseases caused by the different disease such as high blood pressure or hypertension, high in cholesterol, diabetes and cigarette smoking, embolic stroke, cerebral hemorrhage (bleeding in the brain area), subarachnoid hemorrhage (unusual blood vessel in the arachnoids in the brain region leaks or ruptures.), vasculitis or inflammation of blood vessels and migraine.

Effects:

Stroke is a result from a permanent damage in the brain tissue that would lead to paralysis (one or both side of the body), difficulty in eating, sudden trouble in walking, common activities, disability to speak or comprehend speech,  unexpected weakness on one side of the body (arms, legs, and face), abrupt     confusion, unexpected vision problems in either one or both eyes, and abrupt   severe headache with unknown cause.
Further complications lead to permanent neurological damage, coma,    severe complications and even death.

Cure/Healing:
